A fair and noble race who once called Skyrim home. Long before their longships hit these shores, Skyrim was home to the Snow elves. The land where the Nord humans first settled in Tamriel.īut the Nords were not the first to call this beautiful and ancient land home. Home of the dragons who tried to enslave all of humanity eons ago. Nordic barrows and decrepit crypts built into the sides of the mountains serve as tombs and final resting places for the Draugr, the Viking like ancestors of the Nords. Who long to die a glorious death in battle so that they may forever feast and dine in the great mead halls of Sovngarde. Tall, fair haired humans who value courage in battle above all. Rugged peaks, bellowing winds, tundra like fields, aspen forests in the south and deep fjords with flowing rivers rich with salmon. Skyrim, a large fantasy province inspired by Scandinavian culture and folklore. PROLOGUE (For those unfamiliar with Skyrim and it's Lore) The project is completely non-commercial and is being made purely for creativity sakes and as a form of recreation. If you're familiar with Skyrim it will help but I'll try my best to explain the character I am going for as best as I can. The first part of the script is almost done, (enough to get a start). I require a female voice actor who can pull off a convincing Irish (Mid-Dublin) accent or even a good scottish accent will suffice. If you're familiar with Skyrim, it will probably involve a few new worldspaces and quests with a decent amount of dialogue. It will be a fairly large project and will no doubt take time (I work a full time job and I'm mostly travelling half the time). I am currently working on a mod for Skyrim which involves making a female Elf follower. Some of them have developed a fairly decent following. I have made mods for Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim and The Witcher 3. When I'm not writing music or out with friends, I make mod for games in my free time. We'll provide an update as soon as we get official word on the forthcoming DLC.My name is FaramH. Skyrim is out now for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. What do you think about Snow Elves in Skyrim? Do you think they would make for a good quest? Maybe Cicero carried more than one casket! While you can visit the cypt itself in the Morrowind expansion Bloodmoon, we have no idea how the Snow Elf Prince will have apparently transitioned from The Island of Solstheim over to the lands of Skyrim. The Nords gave him a burial in a crypt called Jolgeirr Barrow out of respect for his skills in combat. In the midst of the battle, he was struck down by a twelve-year-old girl who had just witnessed the death of her Mother. They've dropped a long way since their downfall, and perhaps the DLC will show us a glimpse of some real, proper snow elves.Īccording to Skyrim Lore, the Snow Prince himself was a mighty warrior who killed many Nord fighters in battle with his adept skills at magic and spearing. Today, they have 'devolved' into the Falmer, the blind creepy elven subspecies which don't even give you a proper soul gem. They turned to the Dwemer for help, who promptly poisoned them blind - literally. Not only do we get to see the Snow Elf Prince at the very minimum, but Bethesda has an opportunity to craft out (or at least introduce) the plight of the snow elves as an in-game element.Īs one of the loading screens in Skyrim loves to inform us, the snow elves were once a proud race of elves until the Nords drove them from Skyrim. Looking through the game files of the latest patch update, a user on the Bethesda forums discovered the revealingly-titled animation codes. While there's also a bunch of mysterious animations with the acronym 'RF', this is a near-affirmative confirmation of what the Skyrim DLC will likely entail. Just yesterday Bethesda said there would be news of upcoming Elder Scrolls: Skyrim DLC and intrepid fans of the game have already discovered that the yet-to-be-announced DLC seems to include two things: snow elves, and crossbows.
